Sydney, Pt 3

Okay, I think this is actually my last visit to Sydney. I came back for a quick 3 day visit before heading to Tasmania, the major reason I applied for a tourist visa after my WHV expired.

Walking into my hostel, I literally ran into Manu from Agnes Water. As in he was walking out the door as I walked in. Talk about a small world! We embraced, he invited me to a party, so I grabbed my room keys to shower, and got ready to go. Australia Day, ey?!

The rest of the time I spent catching up with Emmy. We had a typical Sydney beach day up north with some other ex-pats and an Aussie native, explored the QVP, and finally enjoyed Dumplings and Beer (a much awaited experience). I also caught up with Sian from Fremantle, for a quick afternoon exploration at the Opera House and through the botanical Gardens.

It was nice to have a mix of local and tourist time, but really just focus on spending time with friends. Exactly what I needed between saying goodbye to my parents in Hawaii and heading to Tasmania for the next adventure.
